Jack V3.0 requires a new license file from Jack V2.3, V2.4 due to feature names change. Please send the license request to dsom.plm@siemens.com with the following information:
When installing Sherpa server software (but not client), you must enter the 20 character license key that was assigned to you by Sherpa. The key is based on your machine's system id and the number of users you have licensed. See Appendix B, Finding Out Your Ethernet Address, in the "Sherpa Installation Guide for Unix and PC Platforms" for instructions on how to locate your machine's system id.
To request your license key, please call 1-800-955-0000, or 714-952-5444, option 2.8.5. Customers outside the United States and Canada may contact your local support office.
You may retrieve product passwords for Version 5 and higher at: http://www2.ugs.com/LicenseManagement/Application, or call 1-800-955-0000 and select option 1, and then option 1 again to be connected to your Customer Account Analyst(CAA). Be prepared to enter your Sold To ID. Please indicate whether you have a UNIX server or a Windows server. For the windows server please list your C:\ hard disk serial number. To find it, type dir at a command prompt. This lists your Volume Serial Number. Customers outside the United States and Canada may contact your local support office.
