From any browser, enter the following URL (please note the news:// in front) news://dnews.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com/misc.news
This will start Outlook Express (without authenticating with Webkey). Since you have not authenticated the dnews.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com server (with Webkey) just yet, you will see the following message. Click OK.
The dnews.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com news server will be automatically entered into your Outlook Express configuration. Right click on the dnews.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com news server and click on properties.
From the "General" tab, enter your name, organization, E-Mail address, and Reply-To address.
Select the "Server" tab, make sure the "This server requires me to log on" box is checked, and enter your Webkey username and password.
Click on OK to save these settings.
Click on the Newsgroups... button to subscribe to the newsgroups you want to follow.
NOTE: Attachments are NOT supported when using a news client (like Outlook Express). To post a message with an attachment, please use the http://bbs.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com interface to the BBS.
